Easy Air Fryer Egg Toast

Description

A quick and easy breakfast recipe that uses the air fryer for delicious egg toast in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole grain, sourdough, or gluten-free)
  • 2 large Grade A eggs
  • Salted butter (room temperature)
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Using a sturdy glass or small bowl, press down in the center of each slice of bread to make a well for the egg.
  2. Spread a generous layer of room-temperature butter on both sides of the bread.
  3. Place the rack in the air fryer basket and spray it lightly with oil.
  4. Crack an egg into a small dish and pour it into the indentation of one bread slice; repeat with the second egg.
  5. Sprinkle kosher salt and pepper over the eggs.
  6. Air fry at 375℉ for about 6 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.
  7. Carefully remove the egg toast from the air fryer and serve warm.

Notes

For a twist, add cheese, diced veggies, or avocado on top. Perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch.
