Quick and easy apple fritters perfect for babies and the whole family.
Ingredients

- 1 medium apple (honeycrisp or fuji), grated
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Oil or butter, for frying
- Optional: Chopped nuts, vanilla extract
Instructions
- Grate the apple until you have about 1/2 cup of grated apple.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the grated apple, egg, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add enough oil or butter to coat the bottom.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, leaving space between each fritter. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Let cool for a minute before serving warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for 1-2 months. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
