Description
This flavorful Arayes comes together in about 30 minutes, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb extra lean ground beef (500g)
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1/2 onion, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup parsley, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon seven spice
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for the meat)
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil (for the pitas)
- 4 round pitas (smaller 4 inch pitas)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Finely chop the onions, garlic, and parsley.
- Mix the ground beef with the onion, garlic, parsley, spices, pomegranate molasses, and olive oil in a large bowl.
- Carefully cut the pitas in half and open them to form pockets.
- Stuff each pita with about 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture.
- Brush the outside of the stuffed pitas with olive oil on all sides.
- Place the stuffed pitas directly on a hot grill or arrange on a baking sheet for the oven.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes per side or Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
Notes
These can be made ahead of time and reheated. Perfect for meal prep!
