- 1 bagel (plain, whole wheat, or everything)
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 slices of bacon, cooked and crispy
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices of American cheese
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast the bagel halves with butter in a preheated cast-iron pan until golden brown (about 3 minutes).
- In the same pan, reduce heat slightly, add remaining butter, and cook the eggs until whites set (about 5 minutes).
- Layer crispy bacon and cheese on one egg, then place the second egg on top and allow cheese to melt (about 2-3 minutes).
- Assemble the sandwich with the toasted bagel halves and serve immediately.
Notes
