- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter, Softened
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl until creamy.
- Add the softened butter, sugars, and egg. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. These cookies freeze well for up to 3 months.
