Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  3. Add the softened butter, sugars, and egg. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. These cookies freeze well for up to 3 months.
