- 1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20 preferred)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- ½ cup chopped pickles
- ½ cup chopped onion
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, egg, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onion until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread extra ketchup on top and add more cheese if desired.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve hot with sides of your choice.
