- ¼ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg white
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 225°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg white, water, and vanilla extract until light and foamy.
- Toss the pecan halves into the egg white mixture until coated.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pecans and stir until well coated.
- Pour the pecans onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.
- Bake for 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
