Description

A hassle-free baked chicken dressing casserole that’s creamy, comforting, and customizable based on your ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 cups stuffing mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Fold together until mixed well.
  3. Stir in chopped celery and onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish and spread evenly.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is crispy and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole makes use of leftover chicken and can be easily customized with different ingredients.
