- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups stuffing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- ½ cup onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Fold together until mixed well.
- Stir in chopped celery and onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is crispy and golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole makes use of leftover chicken and can be easily customized with different ingredients.
