Description

A delectable and easy-to-make Chicken Koobideh that the whole family will enjoy, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Skewers (if grilling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground chicken, grated onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, turmeric, cumin, and parsley in a large bowl.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into kebabs or patties.
  4. Place skewers or patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush lightly with vegetable oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through until cooked and lightly browned.
  7. Serve hot with rice or flatbreads.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freezer-friendly for 3 months. Reheat in oven or skillet.
