Description
A warm and gooey chocolate chip cookie that comes together in about 20 minutes using just one bowl. Customizable and a total crowd-pleaser!

- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (12 oz)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the pure vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Roll dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Do not over-bake.
- Let cookies cool on the baking pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Notes
These cookies can be customized with different types of chocolate chips or nuts. They can also be frozen for later use.
