A quick and easy recipe for sweet condensed milk bread that’s perfect for families. This comforting bread is simple to make and loaded with flavor.

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (optional, for brushing)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix warm water with sugar and yeast. Let it froth for 5-10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, regular milk, and softened butter.
- Stir in the frothy yeast mixture until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise until doubled in size (about 1 to 1.5 hours).
- Once risen, punch down dough, shape into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- If desired, brush the top with beaten egg.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm with butter or jam. Can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days.
