Description

A quick and easy dessert recipe that combines soft bread with a creamy filling, baked to perfection for a delightful family treat.


Ingredients

  • 16 slices of white bread (crust removed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until creamy.
  2. In a second bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Pour the melted butter into a third bowl for dipping.
  4. Cut off crusts from bread slices and roll each slice flat.
  5. Spread about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each slice of bread and roll them up tightly.
  6. Dip each roll in melted butter and coat in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispness.
