  • 12 ounces smoked Polish sausage
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and slice the potatoes into half-inch thick uniform pieces, thinly slice the onion, and cut the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Cook the Potatoes: Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet in a single layer, cooking for 15-20 minutes without stirring until golden brown.
  4. Add the Onions: Toss in the sliced onions and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until caramelized.
