Description

A creamy and delicious Garlic Parmesan Chicken dish that comes together in about 30 minutes, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey
  • 1/2 Chicken Bouillon Cube
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Basil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Parsley
  • 2 Large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 Teaspoons Parsley (for garnish)
  • 12 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3/4 Cup Dry White Wine
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Combine sauce ingredients (chicken broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, honey, chicken bouillon) in a measuring cup and stir. Set aside.
  2. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and pound them to about 1/2 inch thick. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Set aside on a plate.
  4. Deglaze the skillet with dry white wine, cooking for about 2 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add butter and flour, stirring to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Gradually pour in the sauce mixture while stirring, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for about 8 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low and mix in fresh Parmesan cheese and lemon juice until cheese melts into the sauce.
  8. Return chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over, and heat through for about 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with extra parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve the chicken over creamy mashed potatoes or alongside roasted veggies. Great as leftovers, can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
