Description

A quick and easy no-bake salad featuring Honeycrisp apples and broccoli, perfect for adding brightness to your table.


Ingredients

  • 1 Honeycrisp apple, seeded and chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 large bunch of broccoli, chopped into florets
  • ½ cup chopped red onion
  • ½ cup raisins (or cranberries)
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds (or nuts)
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt (Greek yogurt recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar (or ¼ cup honey)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dressing: In a mason jar, combine yogurt, milk, apple cider vinegar, and sugar or honey. Secure the lid and shake to combine. Set aside in the fridge.
  2. Chop Your Veggies: Wash and chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets and chop the Honeycrisp apple into pieces.
  3. Combine the Salad Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped broccoli, apple, red onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds. Mix gently.
  4. Dress It Up: Shake the dressing again and pour it over the salad. Stir gently to combine and coat ingredients. Let it sit for 30-60 minutes.
  5. Crispy Bacon Time: Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top right before serving.

Notes
