Description

Delicious Hot Italian Sub Sliders with Red Pepper Garlic Glaze, perfect for busy weeknights and customizable to your taste.


Ingredients

  • 12 count package Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices Genoa salami
  • 1216 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup mild or hot giardiniera, drained and chopped
  • 68 slices roasted red peppers from a jar, patted dry
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers, sliced (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced roasted red peppers
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated or minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the rolls horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the ham, salami, and pepperoni over the bottom rolls.
  4. Add provolone, roasted red peppers, giardiniera, banana peppers, and mozzarella on top.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  6. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced roasted red peppers, garlic, seasoning, red pepper flakes, and salt. Brush over the rolls.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 5-7 minutes until golden.
  8. Let sit for 5 minutes, then slice into 12 sliders and serve.
