Description

A quick and easy Sweet & Spicy Korean BBQ Meatloaf made in one pan that’s sure to please the whole family.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well blended.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking sheet or greased loaf pan and form into a loaf shape.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar. Adjust the thickness with water if needed.
  5. Brush half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes or until cooked through, brushing with the remaining glaze 10 minutes before it’s done.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds alongside rice and veggies.
