This delicious Creamy Lemon Garlic Salmon Piccata comes together in about 30 minutes and is made all in one skillet for a quick and easy weeknight dinner that your family will love!

- 4 Salmon fillets
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 3–4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Capers
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season your salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Cook the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Make the sauce by stirring in lemon juice and capers, then pouring in the heavy cream. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the cooked salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with wild rice, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad. This dish is best enjoyed fresh as the cream can separate if frozen.
