Description

This delicious Creamy Lemon Garlic Salmon Piccata comes together in about 30 minutes and is made all in one skillet for a quick and easy weeknight dinner that your family will love!


Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 34 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Capers
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season your salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Make the sauce by stirring in lemon juice and capers, then pouring in the heavy cream. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the cooked salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with wild rice, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad. This dish is best enjoyed fresh as the cream can separate if frozen.
