Description

A quick and easy recipe for loaded fries that the whole family will love, customizable with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Russet Potatoes
  • 12 tablespoons neutral oil (avocado or canola)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup crispy crumbled Bacon
  • 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
  • 1/4 cup chopped Green Onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped Chives
  • Optional: 1 cup mixed cheeses, 1/2-1 cup caramelized onions, pickle slices, finely chopped burger patties

Instructions

  1. Prep the potatoes by cutting them into 1/4-inch thick matchsticks or wedges.
  2. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Dry the potatoes thoroughly with paper towels and toss them with the neutral oil and seasoning.
  4. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the potatoes on a sheet pan in a single layer and roast for 20 minutes. Flip and continue roasting for another 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Layer on your toppings: add cheddar cheese, bacon, drizzle ranch dressing, and add garnishes.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until everything is melty.

Notes

Customize with whatever toppings you have on hand for a fun and creative meal. Great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
