- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 lb salmon fillets
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic salt, and black pepper; whisk until combined.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
- Place the salmon skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with additional marinade. Bake for 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Let it rest, then serve with optional additional maple syrup or fresh herbs.
