Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Additional ketchup for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, beaten egg, dry breadcrumbs, ketchup, milk, minced onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  4. Spoon the meat mixture evenly into each muffin cup, filling them about 3/4 of the way full.
  5. Brush the tops of each muffin with extra ketchup.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F (70°C)).
  7. Let them cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before removing.
