Description

A quick and nutritious baby puree packed with vitamin C, made from carrots and mango, perfect for little ones.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 2 carrots
  • 150 grams fresh raspberries or strawberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mango into chunks.
  2. Peel and chop the carrots into smaller pieces.
  3. Wash the raspberries or strawberries, hull and chop strawberries if using.
  4. Place the mango, carrots, and berries into a steaming basket and steam for about 10 minutes until soft.
  5. Transfer the steamed ingredients to a blender and add water or baby’s milk gradually until reaching desired consistency.
  6. Freeze any leftovers in ice cube trays for future meals.

Notes

The puree can be mixed with yogurt, spread on toast, or used as pancake filling. Steaming retains more nutrients than boiling.
