A quick and easy skillet dish featuring salmon glazed with a sweet and tangy honey-pineapple sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

- 4 salmon fillets (about 5 oz each)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
- Fresh cilantro (chopped, for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets with a couple of pinches of salt and black pepper. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, combine pineapple chunks, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sriracha (if using). Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until it thickens.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and cook for 4–5 minutes undisturbed.
- Gently flip the salmon and baste with the honey pineapple glaze. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until fully cooked and flaky.
- Serve topped with extra glaze, pineapple chunks, cilantro, and lime wedges. Enjoy!
