Description

A quick and easy skillet dish featuring salmon glazed with a sweet and tangy honey-pineapple sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 5 oz each)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped, for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with a couple of pinches of salt and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine pineapple chunks, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sriracha (if using). Simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until it thickens.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and cook for 4–5 minutes undisturbed.
  4. Gently flip the salmon and baste with the honey pineapple glaze. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until fully cooked and flaky.
  5. Serve topped with extra glaze, pineapple chunks, cilantro, and lime wedges. Enjoy!
