Description

This wonderfully sticky and sweet Rice Krispie Treats Recipe comes together in about 10 minutes and is completely no-bake, making it a quick and easy dessert that your family will absolutely love!


Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons salted butter
  • 15 oz miniature marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 Tablespoons colored sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 13×9-inch pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  3. Add 10 oz of marshmallows and stir until melted (reserve 5 oz for later).
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until evenly coated.
  6. Stir in the reserved marshmallows.
  7. Add the sprinkles and mix gently.
  8. Transfer to the prepared pan and press down evenly.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
