Easy Ritz Cracker Sandwiches

Description

Delicious baked Ritz Cracker Sandwiches with ham and Swiss cheese – perfect for quick snacks or party appetizers!


Ingredients

  • 48 Ritz Crackers
  • 10 slices of ham
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Poppy seeds for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, lay down 24 Ritz crackers, top side down.
  3. Using a 2-inch round cutter, cut your ham into 24 rounds and place one round on each cracker.
  4. Cut each slice of Swiss cheese into 4 rounds and place one round on top of each ham slice.
  5. Top each stack with another cracker to form sandwiches and press gently.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Use a pastry brush to coat the tops of the sandwiches.
  7. Sprinkle poppy seeds on top of each sandwich.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving warm.
