  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Sesame seeds for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking pan.
  2. Warm the milk in a small saucepan until lukewarm.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the lukewarm milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
  6. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  7. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then gently mix in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
