- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/plant-based ground)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dry minced onion
- Sliced cheddar cheese
- Ketchup
- Hamburger dill pickle chips
- Toothpicks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions (about 20-25 minutes), turning halfway through.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and minced onion.
- Shape the beef mixture into small patties slightly larger than the tater tots.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Top each patty with a slice of cheese and cover until melted (about 1-2 minutes).
- Assemble each bite by stacking a tater tot, squirt of ketchup, cheesy patty, pickle chip, and another tater tot, securing with a toothpick.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
