  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey/plant-based ground)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dry minced onion
  • Sliced cheddar cheese
  • Ketchup
  • Hamburger dill pickle chips
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions (about 20-25 minutes), turning halfway through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and minced onion.
  4. Shape the beef mixture into small patties slightly larger than the tater tots.
  5. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. Top each patty with a slice of cheese and cover until melted (about 1-2 minutes).
